The After School Program (ASP) provides supervised after-school care until 6:00 p.m. for students in all grades. Parents may sign up for a set number of days or on a per diem basis.

All Lower Junior classes are taught predominantly by their form teachers and teaching assistants within their own classrooms. The exceptions are Games, French, ICT, library and music, all of which are taught by specialist staff. Swimming lessons also begin in Reception once a week at York Hall swimming baths, taught by qualified swimming teachers.

The homelike quality of our school contributes to a relaxed, focused experience for the child. Our indoor classroom activities are placed on open shelves for selection as interest and readiness inspire the child. Our outdoor environment offers a beautifuldeveloped playground with manipulatives, tricycles, pets, and gardens..

Music And Dance

Music is divine and it is the language of the heart. The softer growth in the personality of the child starts with music or rhythm. So, music is a compulsory activity for all and children are given an opportunity to showcase their talents.

Children get a unique opportunity to interact and learn from artists who are invited from all the classical and folk arts and all the media of expression – music, dance, sculptures, paintings, and handicrafts.

The dance is one of the many human experiences which cannot be suppressed. Dancing has existed at all times, and among all peoples and races. The dance is a form of expression given to man just as speech, philosophy, painting or music.

Art And Craft

The best way to acquire a new skill is to practice it with one’s own hands. The art and craft activities of the school give just thatkind of an exposure wherein the children learn to interact with artists from various parts of the country and use their imagination to the fullest.
